Do you have knowledge or experience in the power sports industry? We are a full-service dealership carrying a complete line-up of BRP products. At FTPS we provide our customers with a one-stop shop experience including sales, service, parts and accessories for Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, and Can-Am. The parts advisor must be able to work well with people and individually. When a customer approaches the parts counter or contacts the parts department, the advisor should be courteous, well mannered and willing and able to help the customer as needed. If need be under certain circumstances the advisor may have to research product applications or fitments which would require contacting the customer at a later date. When parts have to be ordered, the parts advisor should check stock of the product to ensure timely delivery to the customer. The customer should be made aware of estimated delivery time, any backorders or delays in their product shipments. The parts advisor also will work with the sales and service departments to supply parts needed for repairs or accessories installed on new units. Duties of the parts advisor include - Greeting customers in a timely manner as they enter the parts department. - Using parts diagrams or catalogues to find parts for customer units. - Ensuring all information is obtained from the customer about the unit the parts are required for. (year, make , model, etc.) - Contacting customers when parts arrive or to inform them of any backorders or information they may be looking for. - Making sure the customer receives the correct quantity and amount of parts to assist with inventory control in the parts department. - Being efficient in assisting customers with parts inquiries. - Display product in the showroom appropriately. - Maintain a clean safe work environment. - Be able to work with the customer should any problems arise.
