La Baguette et Compagnie (Baguette & Co) is expanding and is looking for a talented baker to join our team of Bakers & Pastry Chefs!
SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mix, Prepare, and Bake specialty product
- Assisting the kitchen team as needed
- Keep the kitchen organized and clean according to different processes
- Communicate with team and kitchen manager
- Report to Kitchen manager about any issues that arise
- Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or familiar with French baking techniques.
- Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, blenders and dough sheeters
- Good communication skills
- Understanding food safety practices
- Experience with cake decoration techniques
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Team player
- Certification from a culinary school is an asset but not required
