Senior Managers Specific Skills

Keep the Pastor (on a timely basis) of significant issues affecting the development and delivery of programs and services. -Provide pertinent information and orientation for in-coming Wardens -Attend and participate in meetings, assisting with materials and recording notes/minutes for distribution. -Record, Monitor and oversee the financial management of the organization

-Process and submit for Approval all purchases -Ensure development and implementation of an annual budget

-Post and reconcile all financial transactions -Produce all payable cheques and co-sign with the Pastor

-Produce bi-weekly payroll -Ensure that all systems for handling cash are in place and followed

-Produce financial statements

-Reconcile all balance sheet accounts in preparation for annual outside audit

-Strategic/Business Plan development, updating and monitoring Identify, prioritize and provide advice and counsel to aid the Ministry in accessing potential fund-raising alternatives through government grants and finance programs.

-Maintain relationships with funding sources and prepare funding proposals

-Submit approved Budgets and Annual Reports to the Archdiocese in the format that is required. -Meet with the Investment manager to ensure that investment policy is followed.

-Submit all government reports and monitor the renewal of government permits.

-Manage the staff & Volunteers

-Ensure appropriate staffing consistent with the needs and within the constraints of the Faith Ministry's physical and financial resources

-Develop and maintain the Personnel Policy & Procedure Manual -Develop and keep appropriate job descriptions for all staff -Oversee, coordinate, and balance staff workloads

-Recruit, select, orient and train staff -Evaluate staff - Ensure staff are appropriately compensated

-Monitor staff benefits and insurance programs

-Ensure that all volunteers are registered with the Parish

-Ensure all volunteers dealing with children are adequately screened

-Maintain, acquire and dispose of physical assets

-Ensure that facilities, furniture and equipment are as necessary and appropriate to needs of the Faith Ministry

-Provide recommendations to the Faith Ministry for their Approval for any acquisitions or expenditures that are outside the approved budget and exceed $5,000

-Ensure proper maintenance of facilities, furniture and equipment -As necessary, dispose of outdated or worn-out equipment

-Plan programs and services

-Monitor parking operations

-Maintain all that all Safety and Security measures are in place and followed

-Monitor programs and services to ensure consistency with criteria established by the Archdiocese of Montreal

-Manage all significant projects

-Establish, maintain and advance community relations

-Initiate and develop relationships with a broad range of community sectors, including city communities, all levels of government, other non-profit organizations and business organizations to propose organizational policies and programs for the school and the church for the national and international programs.

-To control the process and their structure responding to the needs of our participants.

-To manage all the event and the logistics

-To represent the organization in any national and international competition if needed

-To delegate the necessary authority to the team and create optimum working conditions

-To Coordinate the work of regions, with the other church and bible schools
