Job Description

We are looking for Site Supervisors, Construction Managers, Finishing Site Supervisors and Project Coordinator in the Toronto,ON area.

Responsibilities:

Project Coordinator

-Prepare contracts and negotiate changes to contracts with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

-Develop and implement quality control programs.

-Prepare progress reports for clients.

Construction Site Supervisor

-Direct and schedule crews

-Help with staff training in process and procedures development for the team

-Schedule and co-ordinate trades

-Monitor all day-to-day operations

-Fully knowledgeable in all facets of MOL laws and regulations

-Oversee all operations and total construction work to ensure project is completed in a safe manner

Construction Manager

-Planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget

-Planning and preparing construction schedules and monitoring progress vs schedule

-Help with staff training in process and procedures development for the team

-Schedule and co-ordinate trades

-Monitor all day-to-day operations

-Inspect work progress and quality daily and prepare progress reports

-Fully knowledgeable in all facets of MOL laws and regulations

-Oversee all operations and total construction work to ensure project is completed in a safe manner

Finishing Construction Supervisor

-Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients so that project completed on time

-Ensure that project is completed on time and at budget

-Schedule and co-ordinate trades

-Monitor all day-to-day operations

-Inspect work progress and quality daily

-Fully knowledgeable in all facets of MOL laws and regulations

-Oversee the final stages of the construction project

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Have good project administration and management skills.
  • 5 Years experience in construction
  • Must have high rise construction experience
  • A degree in construction management required for management/supervisory roles
  • Must have hi-rise experience
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of new systems and materials, and local building codes and regulations.
  • Use computer programs specific to construction industry
  • Use MS Office and email software.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and ability to work with others as a team

Compensation:

$45,000 to $60,000 per year BOE for Project Coordinator

$70,000 to $100,000 per year BOE for Site Supervisor

$80,000 to $100,000 per year BOE for Construction manager

$70,000 to $90,000 per year BOE for Finishing Construction Supervisor
