Job Description

Our Burnaby client in the high tech industry is looking for a VP Finance to help out on a contract for approximately 6 months.  Reporting into the CFO, you will lead the finance and purchasing functions and teams, including accounting, tax, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis.  Some of your duties will include:

- Lead and mentor a team

- Review and oversee all financial and management reporting prepared by the accounting team, including US GAAP and IFRS statements.

- Oversee and manage annual budgets

- Manage and support the purchasing, inventory and warehouse process

Ideally you are a CPA with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.  Public company reporting experience would be an asset.
