Job Description

Our client, a global Chartered Professional Accounting firm, is looking to fill a full-time Sr. Accountant role at its Windsor, ON, offices. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in public accounting, preferably with a CPA designation. This is a permanent opportunity and offers substantial room for growth!

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and leading assurance and Notice to Reader engagements under the supervision of a manager or partner.
  • Assist with preparations for audits
  • Preparing corporate, personal and trust income tax returns.
  • Presenting a complete work product to managers and partners on a timely basis.
  • Developing your technical skills and knowledge of our clients' business.
  • Identifying client service opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • A Canadian CPA, CA designation.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a public accounting setting.
  • Excellent analytical skills and creativity to identify problems and potential solutions.
  • Experience with MS office, CaseWare, TaxPrep and bookkeeping software (Sage and Quick Books).
