Responsibilities Generate software requirements, develop specifications, write test plans Design, develop, implement, and test/debug software in Windows environment, and firmware for embedded real-time system Integrate and test the software in target environment, file test reports Debug, test, and troubleshoot hardware systems and modules (Serial to USB converter, step motors, A/D-sensors etc.) Perform other related functions as assigned Essential Skills and Knowledge Bachelor's or higher degree either in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent 3+ years of experience in design, development and verification of Real-Time Software Proficiency in .Net, VB, C/C++/C#; Experience in GUI design Experience with instrumentation control applications Experience with DC and/or step motor control applications Experience in firmware design for microcontrollers Experience in development of software in Windows environment Asset: capable to read and understand electronic schematics, identify and troubleshoot hardware-nature problems Asset: experience with communication protocol: RS232, RS485, I2C, ISP and USB. SCP SCIENCE is currently seeking a Machinist to join our Production department.  Job Responsibilities:        Production of parts with precise dimensions using machining equipment such as overhead mill, Lathe, standard and CNC; Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments; Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan the best sequence of operations; Provide inspection and preventive maintenance on plant equipment as needed; Other tasks, as required. Essential Knowledge and Skills: Skilled in conventional lathe & overhead milling Skilled in CNC lathe & milling equipment both in G code & conversational programming. High-school completed Professional training as a machinist required; Fluent in French and English; Meticulous, productive, dynamic, able to work with minimal supervision. Work Shift: 3pm-11pm
