As part of the Operations team, the Operations Administrator facilitates the success of boarding merchants in a timely manner and the accurate set-up of merchant accounts, advances, and loans. This role is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties supporting the daily operations of our business.   Why we need you? As part of the Operations team, the Operations Administrator facilitates the success of boarding merchants in a timely manner and the accurate set-up of merchant accounts, advances, and loans. This role is responsible for a wide variety of administrative duties supporting the daily operations of our business.   Responsibilities: Create contracts and send to merchants in a timely manner Create merchant accounts, advances and loans Review and validated returns with merchants via email & phone Retrieve merchant daily sales numbers and enter data into the cash advance system Review the compliance of documents before funding Run merchant reports (i.e. monthly statements, amortization schedules, pay out statements…) Update our CRM cases that have been funded and advise sales agents that the funds have been disbursed Prioritize and manage own workload to complete and deliver transaction processing or other processing activities accurately and in a timely manner. Follow up on missing documents for funding with the Sales department Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with other departments as needed to resolve issues File and maintain incident management tickets for questions, service requests, issues and system change requests   Back-up Responsibilities: Review, validate and post returns from the bank to proprietary software systems Manual tasks with 3rd party partners (e.g. First Data & Global Payments) Review and validate new setups of merchant accounts, advances, loans and bank information entered into our proprietary systems to ensure accuracy. Create manual EFT files to send to the bank Support and back-up team members as required Execute ad-hoc tasks and other requests from Director of Operations.   Qualifications: Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 1-year related experience Salesforce and payment processing experience is considered an asset DEC or university degree is considered an asset Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload Ability to uphold strict workplace discretion and confidentiality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Bilingual with excellent communication skills – verbal and written Tech savvy

Get paid to:         Work with a queue of incoming Business Loan and Cash Advance applications to perform validation of small business existence and information through online search engines and other records.
