We are currently recruiting for: Underground Surveyor Job Description Your role will consist of marking up development lines, doing development pick-ups, long-hole drill ring mark-ups, updating mine plans, issuing development drawings and doing month end and bonus calculations. Job Details Bell Creek Mine – Porcupine, Ontario Responsibilities Reporting to the Mine Engineer and the Mine Planner will have the following responsibilities: Gather and analyze data, plan, organize and prioritize work, delivering timely information Assist with time studies, ventilation surveys, routine engineering projects and long-hole drill layouts Marking up development lines, doing development pick-ups, long-hole drill ring mark-ups, updating mine plans, issuing development drawings and doing month end and bonus calculations Qualifications Completion of a two year Mine Technician or Technologist college degree or related experience Minimum one year underground experience Experience in ventilation an asset Knowledge of total station setting, and proficiency in Auto cad, A-Mine, Excel and Word are required Ability to use and calibrate associated survey equipment Ability to communicate and collaborate with various work groups Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada.
