In this role, you are a liaison between project stakeholders, (users, developers, vendors, and business sponsors) and responsible for the elicitation, analysis, documentation, and communication of requirements that satisfy stakeholder and project needs supporting both current and new business applications
Reviews and analyzes company functions, processes, activities and systems to improve business applications for the most effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people
Depending on the nature of the project, the Business Analyst also undertakes a combination of project management, technical implementation, testing and end user training tasks
Leads reviews of business processes with management to develop optimization strategies that meet organizational goals
Documents detailed business process flows and prepare functional and technical design documents
Support all company applications including Web applications, ERP, CRM, HRIS, Dashboards and reporting systems
Works closely with management to design and improve company functions, processes, systems and activities
Identifies problems or inefficiencies through discussions with employees
Acts as a liaison between the technology team and business system users
Utilizes study techniques like simulation, programming, decision processes, data analysis, etc.
Writes descriptions of business needs, process functions, and steps needed to develop or alter business systems
Studies existing business systems to evaluate effectiveness, and develops new systems to improve production or workflow
Automates processing and/or improves existing business systems
Understands business priorities and strategies, and ensures solutions meet business needs and requirements
Propose and design application business solutions following IT agile and waterfall methodologies
Engages in general User Acceptance Testing and defect management, and contributes to, or authors, more advanced testing artifacts such as Test Plans and Test Scripts to ensure the system is configured as per the functional requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering or any related field
A minimum of 5 years business analysis experience related to systems
5+ years hands on experience with web related applications, customer portal, customer focus applications
5+ years hands on experience with ERP systems in one or more various modules (Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution)
Prior experience as a technical analyst within an IT organization
Familiarity with database concepts, using logical/ physical design and development, intermediate knowledge of SQL query
