The project is aimed specifically at young men and women between the ages of 16 and 25 who have abandoned their studies and do not have opportunities to continue in the formal educational system. These strudents are at risk of social and labour exclusion of the municipalities of the Chiquitania. Student recruitment focuses on those communities near the headwaters municipalities. Escuela Taller students are trained in the following professions and specialties: Masonry Restoration, Archaeology, Traditional Crafts, Personal Property, Restoration Carpentry, Electrical and Plumbing installations, Chiquitina Gastronomy (Culinary Arts-food and nutrition), Gardening and Landscaping, Metals and Tourism Services (Tourism). Now, the proposal is to decentralize the workshops to be implemented in all municipalities in the region, depending on the real needs and potential of each of the people. Since the 2017, two productive workshops were opened: specialized carpentry and culinary arts, the latter including the opening of a restaurant. At this moment a pilot model is being implemented. We are now looking for someone like you, a professional in restaurant management and culinary business to advise and support in the implementation and management of bars and restaurants. This role has an emphasis on customer service and culinary innovation is certainly on the menu. As a volunteer, your role will be: - To develop a business model for a restaurant. - To implement and support in the implementation of the restaurant business model. - To develop an educational entrepreneurship unit for the gastronomy/culinary arts students so they can establish their own business. - To develop an educational entrepreneurship unit for the gastronomy/culinary arts students so they can establish their own business. - To implement the entrepreneurship guide/workshop and train the trainers to continue the provision of this service.
